Sharlene Joyce Boyle McNulty

For all those that did not see my mother's obituary, I would like to share that with you. It has been a difficult time during this month, but by God's Grace and friends we are getting through it. Thanks to all who sent cards, called, visited, and emailed.  We truly cherish each and everyone one of you.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA. — McNULTY – Sharlene Joyce Boyle, 76, peacefully transitioned to be with the Lord May 11, 2012, in Fredericksburg, Va., after a brief illness. Born Dec. 16, 1935, in the historic Moorehead Cottage of St. Michael, Pa. After a 10-day whirlwind romance, she eloped to Reno, Nev., and married Roland John McNulty, formerly of Franklin Borough, Pa. Together they led a 58-year marriage full of adventure traveling the world, including living in Morocco, Germany, and 10 different states. Her priorities in life were her love for the Lord and her family. Joyce is watching over her husband, Roland; children, Michael and Jayne McNulty, Fredericksburg, Va.; Patricia and James Randell, Henderson, Nev.; Timothy and Kaye McNulty, Cedar Park, Texas; and sister, Jo Ann Boyle Philibin, and husband, John Philibin, Johnstown, Pa. Joyce was blessed with many grandchildren, Greg and Cindy Randell, Las Vegas, Nev.; Heather and Trevor Browne, Lorton, Va.; Bryan McNulty, Fredericksburg, Va.; Stephen and Jessi McNulty, Scott AFB, Ill.; Kelly McNulty, Cedar Park, Texas; and John Randell, Henderson, Nev.; and great-grandchildren, Stephanie Randell, Las Vegas, Nev.; Frankie Randell, Las Vegas Nev.; and Colton Browne, Lorton, Va. Joyce is reuniting in heaven with her mother, Helen Singer Gillman; and stepfather, Claire Gillman; as well as meeting her brothers, Bernard Boyle and John Boyle for the first time. Instead of flowers, a donation to the American Heart Association is welcomed in honor of her life at www.honor.americanheart.org.

I know God is good and He will make us stronger as we get through this. I often quote this scripture for those who lost loved ones and i know it applies to us as well.

1 Peter 5:10  And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
